Bourbon & Beyond - Things to do in Louisville

Bourbon & Beyond is a must-do Louisville music experience. If you're coming to town this weekend to hear The National, Matchbox 20, Dave Matthews Band, My Morning Jacket, Maren Morris, Zach Bryan, or any of the other 100+ artists playing this year, let us be the first to welcome you to Bourbon City!! When you come to Bourbon & Beyond, you want to experience bourbon every way you can! We've taken the guesswork out of creating the Ultimate Bourbon Experience for you - check out the following places to add to your bourbon itinerary:

If you thought bourbon was just for drinking, think again! Bourbon & Blush is a full service salon and spa in the heart of Downtown Louisville. Massages, facials, hair, nails, body treatments - they do it all! Plus, you can get 10% off when you say you're in town for Bourbon & Beyond! You'll definitely want to try the Bluegrass Bourbon Body Scrub, a full-body exfoliating and nourishing treatment done with locally made bourbon-infused sugar scrub. This service was ranked by CNN Travel as one of the best 10 booze-spiked spa treatments in the world! It includes dry brushing, a full body scrub, a eucalyptus steam shower, and nourishing body butter. Call 502-587-7644 or visit bourbonandblushspa.com to book now!

Brough Brothers Distillery is Kentucky's first African-American owned bourbon distillery! They hold 30 minute distillery tours every Saturday, but spots are limited so you'll want to book in advance! Visit broughbrothers.com/tour/distillery-tour/ to reserve a time!

Experience crafting your own bourbon at Barrels & Billets! This is an exclusive experience that brings you into the bourbon making process, and at the end you can choose to bottle your signature blend to take home! Beloved by tourists and locals alike, this is something you won't want to miss! Visit tickets.barrelsandbillets.com/Info.aspx?EventID=9 to get your tickets today!

The Urban Bourbon Trail is a classic tour of the town. It's hosted by Louisville Tourism as part of their Bourbon Experience, and when you check in to at least six participating locations you'll earn yourself an official Urban Bourbon Trailblazer t-shirt!

If you're looking for a speakeasy vibe that is a go-to bar for many Louisville locals, Hell or High Water is where you'll want to be. They have been mentioned in Thrillist, Food & Wine, VOGUE, and Playboy. We recommend the Reserve Black Manhattan - an exquisite cocktail with Old Forester 1924 Bourbon, Foro Amaro, and Angostura Bitters. Or for something to help you take a break from all the bourbon, a personal favorite of mine is the Elegant Extra - Cimarron Blanco Tequila, blackberry-basil syrup, lemon, and sparkling wine. Other fan favorites are the Oaxacan Old Fashioned, the Reserve Sidecar, and House of Orange. See their complete menu with pricing here.

We hope you enjoy your Bourbon & Beyond experience, and enjoy Louisville Beyond just the incredible music festival that brought you here. Louisville is a wonderful and unique city, and we are so excited to share it with you. For more ideas, visit Louisville Tourism and their Ideal Weekend in Bourbon City blog post.
